Body relaxing from that little catastrophe, it seemed that everything was finally going to move smoothly. Flipping through the pages of the large book, as she patently waited for the professor to begin the class. But luck ran out when she quickly glanced up to spot a somewhat familiar face waltzing up towards her. Eyes focusing back on the black and white pages, her heart began to drum against her chest.
No it couldn’t be. Grabbing her drink as she thought back to her running out of the coffee shop. Her heart dropped. “Oh no.” He couldn’t be the one that she ran into… that was like, what? One in a million chance? Shaking her head. “Don’t be stupid.” Making up statistics was not going to help her situation at all. Eyes shut to try to calm herself as it was quite obvious where he was probably going to take his sit.
Almost jumping out of her skin as it was hard not to hear him make a sound as he took the place behind her. She could have died from embarrassment right there. It was him! And she ruined his shirt. Did he just call her out? Oh why did he even have to mention it… she did say she was sorry, right? Of course she did! She wasn’t raised in a barn.
Red faced and quivering hands, taking a breath as she turned around to face him. “U-um,” Spotting the stain she only bite her lip but then at his second request her lip only curled and all sheepishness went out the door.
”You wish, not after you asked like that. Sorry for the shirt but I am not going to take up on the latter…” Blinking, eyes narrowed further. “How do you even know my name?”
Such a perfect opportunity to tease, and probably yes, irritate the female blond. Little did she know, he had been tossing spit balls at her now and then and throwing random things in her purse. This was just another time to take what was in front of himself and sue it to his advantage. This time was moreso beneficial because an incident actually occurred. A smirk tugged on his lips as he grinned down at her, a couple feet up in the lecture hall. A slight flick of his wrist, he waved at her and his lips pursed into a small pout. “D'aw that hurts Lucy-san~ It really does." His gold eyes rolled and he chuckled, "Yeah heard ya back in the shop, but it’s a nice shirt. You wanna pay for it? Or you could go on a date with me. Pick~ One’s free and one’s not." Perfect way to blackmail her, and a good excuse to date the lovely Lucy Heartfilia, a girl he admired from afar.
His brow quirked at her narrowing eyes and he smirked more as he twirled his pen. "I know things~ I have my ways~" This was too much fun to make her mind boggle and to tease her. In actuality, he saw the class roster and he heard her name around the campus. Also, Lyon claimed to be her "older brother” so of course he heard through him. “Why? Ya upset I know your name? Isn’t that a good thing?" He asked, curious and let out a sigh, "and lemme guess you dunno mine? Which is a shocker given who I am. Surprised if you didn’t really as I am the greatest there is, truly." A bit confident? A bit much.
His auburn eyes glanced at the clock seeing they still had a few more minutes until class started and they returned back to her honey orbs once more. "In all honesty, you gonna pass up a date with me? You afraid or what~?" His chin remained in his hand as he looked down at her, "I don’t bite, much~ Well, I do, but not on first dates. Unless, you want me too Lu~cy~”
