“Oh?” She asked, a brow arching as she took a step forward; an unusual smirk tugging on her lips. “I do believe you were there in the games when your woman has lost, yes?” She asked, hand leisurely resting on the hilt of her sword. ”I had refused the bet, though the woman had chose her own fate, nothing of my own volition.—and to show power by owning a person?” She huffed, brows furrowing as a memory flashed.
“I would never do such a horrid thing, if Yukino wants to be free, then she is.—it is not in my morale to do such a thing. —and my reason as to wanting to take your life?” She trailed, “I’ll keep that to myself, now shall I?” as if she was even serious with said threat
The Dragon Slayer remained where he was, unmoving as the mermaid took a step toward him. His eyes flashed to the the hilt of her sword and looked back up to her dark eyes once more. It was true, she had refused, but even still, he couldn’t do–no, he didn’t anything for Yukino because deemed her as “weak”. This woman before her shattered Yukino’s pride and walked over her and he was not about to let that go.
There was another reason he wanted to speak to Kagura. This was Yukino’s issue, so he wouldn’t delve too deep, but, there was something about the mermaid, something he wanted to know. Kagura, she held a presence of deep mystery that intrigued him. “That’s not the point!" He growled and his eyes flashed and threw his hand to the side. "You won the fight, yet you had to shatter her pride more! Why….Why did you do such a thing!? Answer me that much. Or—is that also something for you to keep to yourself?" A chuckle as he turned from her and plucked a single flower out of a flower bed and shifted his eyes over at her, "not very open about yourself, are you, Kagura-san?”
