Though the Celestial Maiden had been tempted to truly display her displeasure, not only in their sudden plunge through the surface of the wonderfully warm water, but in the comment prior to the event, his efforts of distraction were clearly very efficient. In a matter of seconds, an expression of major discontent had transpired, making way for the slack-jawed, wide-eyed, gazing upon the now glorious sky above her.

Her attentive gaze finally falls back to the blond who had submerged her into the depths of the guilds pool, settling upon his cobalt orbs with a sudden flare of interest in the honey hues she possessed.“S-Sting-sama…I…it’s beautiful.” There’s little more to follow for a few, drawn-out moments, simply holding gaze with him. “But…why is it me that you wish to show?”
Part of him felt guilty for plunging her without her permission, but another part of him felt glad because the expression that followed her discontent is what made it worth it. Yes, that beautiful and radiant smile—the smile he fell in love with. the smile that lit up his life and his heart. The smile that never ceased yo brighten up his day, no–his life. 
The blond stayed back where he was, watching her as her chocolate eyes scanned the heavens above and chuckled lightly, but kept his words to himself. Her eyes met his and a slight flush graced his features. ”I…“ he shifted his eyes and rubbed back of his head and sighed. It was now or never. His eyes softened as he took a step toward her, enclosing their distance between them. "Because," he started and tilted her chin up, "you connect and feel close to the stars, right? And..you…are worth it, that is why."
